Leanne found out early in life that she loved comedy. And she told them how an insurance man would come to visit them at home, and how she would dance like Cher. Her comedic style, which incorporates her Southern allure with the humorous narration of her life, is best known.
She began to sell jewellery after she graduated from the university and got married. She would go to women’s jewellery parties and it was at one of the parties that she realised that she was funny.
She then started to sing at Rotary shows and at Kiwanis clubs. One day, a man came to her and asked her to be his centrepiece in his club.
